Hurricane Policy〜

At Hotel Punta Blanca, we understand that during hurricane season unexpected situations may arise. That's why we have established a special policy to offer peace of mind and flexibility to our guests in the event of an official weather alert.

This policy will apply only when the National Hurricane Center (NOAA) issues an official hurricane warning for Cancún. It does not apply to tropical storms or minor weather events.

Cancellations

If your confirmed reservation falls within 72 hours prior to the expected arrival of a hurricane, you may cancel without penalty. Please contact the travel agency or booking platform used to make your reservation to process the cancellation.

No Shows

There will be no charge for no shows during the three days following the hurricane's impact on the destination.

Early Departures

Guests who choose to depart earlier than planned due to a hurricane warning will receive a credit certificate valid for one year, corresponding to the unused nights, which can be applied toward a future stay.

Date Changes

Guests wishing to reschedule their stay may do so at no additional cost, maintaining the same rate, provided the new dates do not fall within high-demand seasons such as Christmas, New Year's, or Easter.

Refunds

Confirmed reservations within 72 hours prior to the hurricane's arrival, or within three days after, are eligible for a full refund with no penalty.
